- Ledbury old 1 replaced this station, which had restricted space and access. Conditions at the Church Street fire station were so cramped that an annexe was maintained at The Coach House, The Deanery. In 1900 the fire station was in Back Lane [After Worcester Road was opened, Church Street was known as Back Lane].

- After the Fire Station in Church Street relocated to what is now known as the Old Ambulance Station in Bye Street, the building in Church Street was taken over by the Ledbury branch of the Royal British Legion.
